Тахограф
Тахограф - це пристрій, пристосований до автомобіля, який автоматично записує свою швидкість та відстань разом із активністю водія, вибраною з вибору режимів. Режим приводу активується автоматично, коли автомобіль рухається, і сучасні головки тахографів, як правило, за замовчуванням працюють в іншому режимі роботи після приїзду до відпочинку. Решта режимів і доступність можуть бути вибрані вручну водієм у стаціонарному режимі. Система тахографа містить отвірний пристрій, встановлений на коробку передач транспортного засобу, головку тахографа та носій для запису. Голівники тахографів мають або аналогові, або цифрові типи. Всі відповідні транспортні засоби, виготовлені з 1 травня 2006 року, повинні бути оснащені цифровими головками тахографа. Запис для аналогових голів - це паперові диски з восковим покриттям, а для цифрових головок - цифрові картки водія, що містять мікрочіп з флеш-пам'яттю. Цифрові драйвери зберігають дані у вигляді файлу a.ddd, який можна імпортувати у програмне забезпечення для аналізу тахографів.
