Захворювання, передані статевим шляхом, також називаються інфекціями, що передаються статевим шляхом, та венеричні захворювання - це хвороби, які мають значну ймовірність передачі між людьми за допомогою сексуальної поведінки, в тому числі вагінального статевого акту, анального сексу та орального сексу.
