(Chim., med., farm.) Gumă rășinoasă uscată obținută prin incizarea tulpinii și rădăcinii mai multor umbelifere asiatice (din familia Ferula), de culoare crem sau roșcată, cu gust acru și cu miros deosebit de respingător.
