অভিধানে ঘন ঘন প্রথম সংজ্ঞা প্রথম বার বা অভ্যাসগত কর্ম প্রকাশের জন্য ব্যবহৃত কিছু ভাষায় ক্রিয়াগুলির একটি দিক নির্দেশ করছে। ঘন ঘন অন্যান্য সংজ্ঞা একটি ক্রিয়া বা একটি affix denoting হচ্ছে যার অর্থ ক্রিয়াহীন কুস্তি, বারংবার বা অভ্যাসগত কর্ম যেমন wrest থেকে জড়িত। ফ্রিকুইয়েন্টেবেলটিও একটি ক্রমিক ক্রিয়া বা affix।
