উদ্দেশ্য
অভিপ্রায় হয় একটি কর্ম বা কর্মের সিরিজ, শেষ বা লক্ষ্য করা হয় যে লক্ষ্য সম্পাদন একটি এজেন্ট এর নির্দিষ্ট উদ্দেশ্য। প্রত্যাশিত এবং পূর্বাভাস করা হয় না যে ফলাফল অবাঞ্ছিত ফলাফল হিসাবে পরিচিত হয় ইচ্ছাকৃত আচরণ শুধু চিন্তাশীল এবং ইচ্ছাকৃত লক্ষ্য-নির্দেশনা হতে পারে। পরীক্ষামূলক দর্শনের সাম্প্রতিক গবেষণায় দেখানো হয়েছে যে, অন্য কোনও কারন হয়তো ইচ্ছাকৃতভাবে কোনও পদক্ষেপকে গণনা করা হয় কিনা বা নাও হতে পারে।

অভিধানে অভিপ্রায় প্রথম সংজ্ঞা একটি উদ্দেশ্য বা লক্ষ্য; লক্ষ্য রাখি। উদ্দেশ্যপ্রণোদিত অন্যান্য সংজ্ঞা হল এমন একটি সংকল্প বা নকশা যা কোনও ব্যক্তি কাজ করে বা কোনও কাজ করার থেকে বিরত থাকে, নির্দিষ্ট অপরাধের একটি প্রয়োজনীয় উপাদান। অভিপ্রায় এছাড়াও একটি প্রাকৃতিক নিরাময় প্রক্রিয়া, প্রথম অভিপ্রায় হিসাবে, যার মধ্যে একটি ক্ষত এর প্রান্তগুলি মধ্যে কোন টিস্যু সঙ্গে একসঙ্গে আটকে, বা দ্বিতীয় অভিপ্রায় দ্বারা, যা ক্ষত প্রান্ত granulation টিস্যু সঙ্গে মেনে চলে।
