Adar
Adar ist der sechste Monat des Bürgerjahres und der zwölfte Monat des kirchlichen Jahres auf dem hebräischen Kalender. Es ist ein Wintermonat von 29 Tagen. In Schaltjahren geht es um einen 30-tägigen Intercalary-Monat namens Adar Aleph, Adar Rishon oder Adar I und es wird dann selbst Adar Bet, Adar Sheni oder Adar II genannt. Gelegentlich statt Adar I und Adar II werden "Adar" und "Ve'Adar" verwendet. Adar I und II treten im Februar-März auf dem gregorianischen Kalender auf. Basierend auf einer Linie in der Mischna, die erklärt, dass Purim in Adar II in einem Schaltjahr gefeiert werden muss, gilt Adar I als der "Extra" Monat. Als Ergebnis wurde jemand geboren in Adar während eines Nicht-Schaltjahres feiern seinen Geburtstag in Adar II während eines Schaltjahres. Jedoch wird jemand, der während eines Adar in einem Schaltjahr geboren wird, seinen Geburtstag während Adar in einem Nicht-Sprungjahr feiern, außer dass jemand, der auf 30 Adar geboren wird, seinen Geburtstag auf 1 Nisan in einem Nicht-Sprungjahr feiern wird, weil Adar in einem Nicht Das Jahr hat nur 29 Tage.
