Celaya
Celaya ist eine Stadt und ihre umliegende Gemeinde im Bundesstaat Guanajuato, Mexiko, befindet sich im südöstlichen Quadranten des Staates. Es ist die drittgrößte Stadt im Staat, mit einer Volkszählung von 2005 von 310.413. Die Gemeinde, für die die Stadt als städtischer Sitz dient, hatte eine Bevölkerung von 415.869. Die Stadt befindet sich im geographischen Zentrum der Gemeinde, die einen Flächenumfang von 553,18 km² hat und viele kleinere abgelegene Gemeinden umfasst, von denen die größten sind San Miguel Octopan, Rincón de Tamayo und San Juan de la Vega.
