Cornett
Das Cornett, Cornetto oder Zink ist ein Frühlingsinstrument, das aus den mittelalterlichen, Renaissance- und Barockzeiten stammt, die von 1500-1650 beliebt sind. Es wurde in den sogenannten Alta-Capellas oder Wind-Ensembles verwendet. Es ist nicht zu verwechseln mit dem trompetenartigen Kornett. Der Klang des Kornettes wurde durch Lippenvibrationen gegen ein Bechermundstück hergestellt. Es besteht aus einem konischen Holzrohr aus Leder, ca. 24 cm lang und hat Fingerlöcher und ein kleines Horn- oder Elfenbeinmundstück.
