Misstrauen

Misstrauen ist eine formale Art, nicht einer Partei zu viel in einer Situation von schwerem Risiko oder tiefen Zweifel zu vertrauen. Es wird allgemein in der Zivilgesellschaft als eine Teilung oder ein Gleichgewicht der Kräfte oder in der Politik als Mittel zur Validierung von Vertragsbedingungen ausgedrückt. Systeme, die auf Misstrauen basieren, teilen einfach die Verantwortung auf, damit Kontrollen und Waagen funktionieren können. Der Ausdruck "Vertrauen, aber verifizieren" bezieht sich speziell auf Misstrauen. Ein Wahlsystem oder ein kontradiktorischer Prozess beruht unweigerlich auf Misstrauen, aber nicht auf Misstrauen.
