Dragonhead Minze oder American Dragonhead ist eine wilde nordamerikanische Minze, die aus dem New Yorker Staat durch den Mittleren Westen und Kanada und nach Alaska wächst. Es wächst entweder als eine jährliche oder zweijährige, produziert Cluster von kleinen rosa bis violetten Blüten in Wirtel an den Enden von vielen verzweigenden Stielen. Die Samen sind sehr klein, dunkel und hoch im Ölgehalt, ca. 20%. Eine aktuelle Studie deutet darauf hin, dass diese Minze kann Anwendung als kommerzielle Vogelfutter in Alaska haben.
