Enthalpie-Änderungsrechnungen für Energie, die durch Expansion oder Heizung in konstanten Druck auf die Umwelt übertragen werden. Die gesamte Enthalpie, H, eines Systems kann nicht direkt gemessen werden. Die gleiche Situation gibt es in der klassischen Mechanik: nur eine Veränderung oder ein Unterschied in der Energie trägt physikalische Bedeutung.
