Heterosedastizität
In der Statistik ist eine Sammlung von Zufallsvariablen heteroscedastisch, wenn es Subpopulationen gibt, die unterschiedliche Variablen von anderen haben. Hier könnte die Variabilität durch die Varianz oder jede andere Maßnahme der statistischen Dispersion quantifiziert werden. So ist die Heterosedastizität das Fehlen von Homosedastizität. Die mögliche Existenz von Heterosedastizität ist ein wichtiges Anliegen bei der Anwendung der Regressionsanalyse, einschließlich der Analyse der Varianz, da die Anwesenheit von Heterosedastizität statistische Tests von Signifikanz ungültig macht, die davon ausgehen, dass die Modellierungsfehler unkorreliert und normal verteilt sind und dass ihre Abweichungen nicht sind Variieren mit den zu modellierenden Effekten. Ähnlich wird bei der Prüfung auf Unterschiede zwischen Unterpopulationen unter Verwendung eines Standorttests einige Standardtests davon ausgegangen, dass Abweichungen innerhalb der Gruppen gleich sind. Der Begriff bedeutet "unterschiedliche Varianz" und kommt aus dem griechischen "Hetero" und "Skedasis".
