Indirekte Rede
Indirekte Rede, auch berichtete Rede oder indirekter Diskurs genannt, ist ein Mittel, um den Inhalt von Aussagen, Fragen oder anderen Äußerungen auszudrücken, ohne sie explizit zu zitieren, wie es in direkter Rede erfolgt. Zum Beispiel sagte er: "Ich komme" ist direkte Rede, während er sagte, dass er kommen würde, ist indirekte Rede. Indirekte Rede sollte nicht mit indirekten Sprechakten verwechselt werden. In der Grammatik nutzt die indirekte Sprache oftmals bestimmte syntaktische Strukturen wie Inhaltsklauseln ("diese" Klauseln, wie zB das, was er kam) und manchmal auch Infinitivphrasen. Verweise auf Fragen in indirekter Rede nehmen häufig die Form von interrogativen Inhaltsklauseln auf, die auch als indirekte Fragen bezeichnet werden (zB ob er kommen würde). In der indirekten Rede werden gewisse grammatikalische Kategorien gegenüber den Worten des Ursprungssatzes geändert. Zum Beispiel kann sich die Person durch einen Wechsel des Sprechers oder Hörers ändern (wie ich es im obigen Beispiel ändere). In einigen Sprachen, einschließlich Englisch, wird das Tempus der Verben oft geändert - das wird oft als Sequenz von Zeitformen bezeichnet.
