Prosodische Einheit
In der Linguistik ist eine prosodische Einheit, die oft als Intonationseinheit oder intonische Phrase bezeichnet wird, ein Sprachsegment, das mit einer einzigen prosodischen Kontur auftritt. Die Abkürzung IU wird verwendet und daher wird die volle Form oft als Intonationseinheit gefunden, trotz der Tatsache, dass es technisch eher eine Einheit von Prosodie als Intonation ist, die nur ein Element der Prosodie ist. Prosodische Einheiten treten auf einer Hierarchie von Ebenen, von der metrischen Fuß und phonologischen Wort zu einer vollständigen Äußerung. Der Begriff ist jedoch im Allgemeinen auf Zwischenstufen beschränkt, die keine eigene Terminologie haben. Prosodische Einheiten entsprechen im allgemeinen nicht syntaktischen Einheiten wie Phrasen und Klauseln; Es wird angenommen, dass sie unterschiedliche Aspekte reflektieren, wie das Gehirn die Sprache verarbeitet, wobei prosodische Einheiten durch Online-Interaktion und Verarbeitung erzeugt werden und morphosyntaktische Einheiten automatisiert werden.
