Ipomoea / ˌɪpɵmiːə / ist die größte Gattung in der Blütenpflanze Familie Convolvulaceae, mit über 500 Arten. Es ist eine große und vielfältige Gruppe mit gemeinsamen Namen, einschließlich Morgenruhm, Süßkartoffel, Bindekraut, Moonflower, etc. Der am weitesten verbreitete gemeinsame Name ist Morgenruhm, aber es gibt auch Arten in verwandten Gattungen mit dem gleichen gemeinsamen Namen.
