Kiwanis
Kiwanis International ist ein internationaler, coeducational Service Club, der 1915 gegründet wurde. Er hat seinen Hauptsitz in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA und befindet sich in mehr als 80 Nationen und geografischen Gebieten. Die Mitgliedschaft in Kiwanis und ihre Familie von Clubs ist fast 600.000 Mitglieder stark, jährlich mehr als 100 Millionen US-Dollar zu erhöhen und über 18 Millionen Freiwilligen Stunden zu berichten, um Gemeinschaften zu stärken und Kindern zu dienen. Kiwanis International ist eine freiwillig geführte Organisation, die von einem Stiftungsrat geleitet wird, bestehend aus 19 Mitgliedern: 15 Treuhänder, vier Abgeordnete und Geschäftsführer. Die Treuhänder bedienen dreijährige Klauseln, wobei jedes Jahr fünf Treuhänder gewählt werden. Wie in den Statuten dargelegt, werden neun Treuhänder aus der Region United States und Pacific Canada gewählt, ein Treuhänder wird aus dem Kanada und amp; Karibische Region, zwei Treuhänder aus der europäischen Region gewählt werden, werden zwei Treuhänder aus der asiatisch-pazifischen Region gewählt, und ein Treuhänder wird von allen anderen Regionen als den Vereinigten Staaten und dem Pazifik Kanada gewählt. Zu den gewählten Beamten gehörten: Vizepräsident, Präsidentenwahl, Präsident und sofortiger Präsident.
