Philoktetchen
Philokelt oder Philoktheten war nach der griechischen Mythologie der Sohn des Königs Poeas von Meliboea in Thessalien. Er war ein griechischer Held, berühmt als Bogenschütze und war Teilnehmer des Trojanischen Krieges. Er war das Thema von mindestens zwei Spielen von Sophokles, von denen einer nach ihm benannt ist, und einer von Aischylos und Euripides. Doch nur ein Sophoclean-Spiel überlebt - Aeschylus 'Philoctetes, Euripides' Philoctetes und Sophocles Philoctetes in Troy sind alle verloren, außer für einige Fragmente. Er wird auch in Homer's Ilias erwähnt; Buch 2 beschreibt sein Exil auf der Insel Lemnos, seine Wunde durch Schlangenbiss und seine eventuelle Erinnerung an die Griechen.
