Verseifung
Verseifung ist ein Prozess, der Seife produziert, meist aus Fetten und Lauge. Es handelt sich um eine Reaktion zwischen einer Base, üblicherweise Natriumhydroxid, und einer Estergruppe auf einer Verbindung. Triglyceride sind ein Beispiel, das ein Ester einer Fettsäure ist.
