Selva
Selva ist eine Küsten-Comarca in Katalonien, Spanien, zwischen der Bergkette bekannt als Serralada Transversal oder Puigsacalm und der Costa Brava. Ungewöhnlich ist es zwischen den Provinzen Girona und Barcelona aufgeteilt, wobei Fogars de la Selva Teil der Provinz Barcelona ist und alle anderen Gemeinden in die Provinz Girona fallen. Auch ungewöhnlich ist seine Hauptstadt Santa Coloma de Farners nicht mehr zu den größeren Gemeinden, mit den Küstenstädten Blanes und Lloret de Mar, die ihn weit übertroffen haben. Selva grenzt an die Comarques von Maresme, Vallès Oriental, Osona, Garrotxa, Gironès und Baix Empordà.
