Das Supermarine Spitfire ist ein britisches Single-Sitze-Kampfflugzeug, das von der Royal Air Force und vielen anderen alliierten Ländern während und nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg benutzt wurde. Das Spitfire wurde in vielen Varianten gebaut, mit mehreren Flügelkonfigurationen und wurde in größerer Anzahl als jedes andere britische Flugzeug produziert.
