Thule
Thule, auch Thula, Thila oder Thyïlea geschrieben, ist in der klassischen europäischen Literatur und Karten eine Region im hohen Norden. Obwohl man oft als eine Insel in der Antike angesehen wird, identifizieren sich moderne Interpretationen von Thule oft als Norwegen, eine Identifikation, die durch moderne Berechnungen unterstützt wird.
