Eukalyptus gomphocephala
Eukalyptus gomphocephala ist eine Baumart, auch bekannt als Tuart, in der Gattung Eukalyptus. Native im Südwesten von Westaustralien wächst der Baum auf über 35m hoch. Als haltbares Hartholz wird das Holz nach Pfosten, Bauholz, Bau von Eisenbahnwaggons und Bootsbau gesucht. Das Färbe- und Kornmuster des Holzes macht es auch zu einer beliebten Wahl für Möbelhersteller, wegen der Übernahme der Tuart ist ein geschützter Baum mit Bedingungen, die auf die Protokollierung gestellt werden. Der Tuart hat kastenförmige raue Rinde durch die Länge des Koffers zu kleinen Zweigen. Blätter sind gestielt, abwechselnd, lanzettlich oder falsch bis 12 x 2 cm, leicht entfärblich bis körnig, glänzend, hellgrün und dünn. Weiße Blüten erscheinen Mitte des Sommers bis Mitte Herbst. Das Verteilungsgebiet der Spezies ist ein schmaler Küstenkorridor innerhalb der Schwanenküstenebene, der sich in fünfundsechzig Kilometer erstreckt, ein durchgehender Streifen südlich von Yanchep nach Busselton. Ausgehende Flecken des Baumes befinden sich nördlich von Yanchep und weiter im Landesinneren, wo die Flüsse die Reichweite schneiden.
