Schreiben
Schreiben ist ein Medium der Kommunikation, das die Sprache durch die Inschrift von Zeichen und Symbolen repräsentiert. In den meisten Sprachen ist das Schreiben eine Ergänzung zur Sprache oder gesprochenen Sprache. Schreiben ist keine Sprache, sondern eine Form der Technik. Das Ergebnis des Schreibens wird allgemein als Text bezeichnet, und der Empfänger des Textes wird als Leser bezeichnet. Motivationen zum Schreiben gehören Publikation, Geschichtenerzählen, Korrespondenz und Tagebuch. Das Schreiben war maßgeblich an der Geschichte, der Verbreitung von Wissen durch die Medien und der Bildung von Rechtssystemen. Als die menschlichen Gesellschaften auftauchten, wurde die Entwicklung des Schreibens durch pragmatische Erfordernisse wie den Austausch von Informationen, die Aufrechterhaltung von Finanzkonten, die Kodifizierung von Gesetzen und die Aufzeichnung der Geschichte getrieben. Um das 4. Jahrtausend v.Chr. Wurde die Komplexität des Handels und der Verwaltung in Mesopotamien menschliches Gedächtnis, und das Schreiben wurde zu einer zuverlässigeren Methode der Aufzeichnung und Präsentation von Transaktionen in einer permanenten Form.
