Yenisei
Der Yenisei, auch als Yenisey geschrieben, ist das größte Flusssystem, das zum Arktischen Ozean fließt. Es ist das Zentrum der drei großen sibirischen Flüsse, die in den Arktischen Ozean fließen. In der Mongolei steigt, folgt es einem nördlichen Kurs zum Yenisei-Golf im Kara-Meer, der einen großen Teil des zentralen Sibiriens, dem längsten Strom nach dem Yenisei-Angara-Selenga-Ider-Flusssystem, abläuft. Die Oberläufe, vorbeifährt von Stromschnellen und Überschwemmungen, durchlaufen dünn besiedelte Gebiete. Der mittlere Abschnitt wird durch eine Reihe von massiven Wasserkraftwerken betrieben, die bedeutende russische Primärindustrie betreiben. Die maximale Tiefe des Yenisei beträgt 80 Fuß und die durchschnittliche Tiefe beträgt 45 Fuß. Die Tiefe des Flussabflusses beträgt 106 Fuß und der Zufluss beträgt 101 Fuß.
