Mesenterium Es ist ein Teil des Peritoneums, der den Darm aufgehängt hält. Die meisten inneren Organe in der Bauchhöhle sind vom Peritoneum umschlossen, aber das Peritoneum, das den langen Darmtrakt bedeckt, was in der Bauchhöhle vorteilhaft ist, überlappt sich auf einer Seite des Darmtraktes in zwei Hälften und wird zu Mesenterium. Im Inneren des Mesenteriums befinden sich Blutgefäße, die im Darmtrakt, in den Lymphgefäßen und im Mittelfeld verteilt sind. 장간막
장을 매달아 유지하는 복막의 일부분이다. 복강 내 대부분의 내장기관은 복막에 싸여 있으나, 복강 내에서 유리하는 긴 장관(腸管)을 덮는 복막은 장관의 한 쪽에서 2장이 겹쳐서 장간막이 된다. 장간막 속에는 장관에 분포하는 혈관·림프관·신경이 지나가며 지방도 많다.
