Neopren Chloropren-Kautschuk oder ein synthetischer Kautschuk, der durch Polymerisieren einer kleinen Menge anderer Einheiten erhalten wird. Gegenwärtig wird es als Abkürzung für CR verwendet. Die Herstellung wird durch Zugabe von Salzsäure zu Vinylacetylen, erhalten durch Polymerisieren von zwei Molekülen Acetylen, um Chloropren zu erhalten, und Emulgieren desselben bei 5ºC oder 40ºC erhalten. Es wird auch für die Beschichtung von Drähten und Schläuchen und auch als Klebstoff verwendet. 네오프렌
클로로프렌고무 또는 이것에 소량의 다른 단위체를 중합시킨 합성고무의 상품명이다. 현재는 CR이라는 약칭으로 사용되고 있는데, 그 제조는 아세틸렌 2분자를 중합시켜 얻은 비닐아세틸렌에 염산을 첨가시켜 클로로프렌을 얻고, 이것을 5℃ 또는 40℃에서 에멀션화시켜 얻는다. 전선의 피복이나 호스에도 사용되고, 접착제로도 사용된다.
