Die Tablette ist eine der Darreichungsformen des Arzneimittels. Es wird durch Mischen von pulverförmigen Rohmaterialien und Pressen erhalten, um sie zu verfestigen. Im Zusammenhang mit einer klassischen Tablette enthält der Wirkstoff ein Sprengmittel, das eine raschere Auflösung des Arzneimittels im Körper ermöglicht, ein Füllstoffmaterial zur Erleichterung der Herstellung des Arzneimittels, ein Bindemittel, ein Gleitmittel, Alterungsschutzmittel und Aroma- und Färbemittel zur Verbesserung des Geschmacks und des Aussehens des Arzneimittels.
