Denervation, also called nervous system, is the complete or partial interruption of nerve pathways between an organ and the brain or that of a cerebral cerebral nerve from its nervous connections. Als Denervierung, auch Entnervung oder Enervation genannt, bezeichnet man das vollständige oder partielle Unterbrechen von Nervenbahnen zwischen einem Organ und dem Gehirn oder der eines Großhirnareals von seinen nervalen Verbindungen.
