WHAT DOES PAIDEIA MEAN IN GERMAN?
Paideia
Paideia is a key concept for the understanding of ancient culture and a central concept of value. It stands, on the one hand, for the intellectual and ethical education and formation as a process and, on the other, for the education as the possession and the result of the education process. In this way, he refers not only to school teaching for children, but also to the turning of man into the thinking of the determinate and the formation of the arete. Only through the right Paideia does the soul achieve its "best form".
