Syrah is a not very productive, but high-quality red grape variety, originally cultivated mainly in the Rhône Valley in France. In South Africa, Australia, USA and Canada, the Shiraz variety is called. The vine has attained so great importance and is so coveted that it moved into the nobility of the wine world and is called noble vine. Syrah ist eine nicht sehr ertragreiche, aber hochwertige rote Rebsorte, die ursprünglich vor allem im Rhônetal in Frankreich kultiviert wurde. In Südafrika, in Australien, in den USA und in Kanada heißt die Sorte Shiraz. Die Rebe hat so hohe Bedeutung erlangt und ist so begehrt, dass sie in die Nobilität der Weinwelt aufrückte und als Edelrebe bezeichnet wird.
