विवाह करते थे । स्त्रियाँ रूपवती होती थीं । इस देश के
घोड़े अच्छे होते थे । यह देश हिमालय के प्रांत भाग में माना
जाता था ।
५. आठ प्रकार के विवाहों में से एक ।
विशेष—इसमें वर और कन्या परस्पर अपनी इच्छा से अनुराग-
पूर्वक मिलकर पतिपत्नीवत् रहते हैं । मनु के अनुसार
क्षत्रियों के लिये गांधर्व विवाह विहित है ।
