विशेष—इसके पत्ते पान के आकार के, प्रायः एक बालिश्त लंबे
और ८-१० अंगुल चौड़े होते हैं और नीचे की और कुछ
सफेदी लिए होते हैं । यह घावों पर उनको सुखाने ओर फोड़ों
पर उनको बहाने के लिये बाँधा जाता है । ऐसा प्रसिद्ध है कि
यदि यह सीधा बाँधा जाय तो कच्चा फोड़ा पककर फूट जाता
है; और यदि उलटा बाँधा जाय तो बहता हुआ फोड़ा सूख
जाता है । मालवा में इसे 'ताँबेसर' कहते हैं ।
