और गरदन कालापन लिए लाखी रंह की होती है । भारतवर्ष
में हंस सब दिन नहीं रहने हैं । वर्षाकाल में उनका मानसरोवर
आदि तिब्बत की झीलों में चला जाना और शरत्काल में लौटना

राग गाता है, विशेषतः मरते समय । किसी शब्द के आगे
लगकर यह शब्द श्रेष्ठता का वाचक भी होता है, जैसे, कुलहंस ।
