प्रसिद्ध हीरा ।
विशेष—इसके विषय में कहा जाता है कि यह राजा कर्ण के पास
था और पीछे मालवा के राजा विक्रमादित्य के हाथ लगा
था । सोलहवीं शताब्दी के आरंभ में यह हीरा ग्वालियर के
एक राजा ने गोलकुंडा के बादशाह को दिया था । सन् १७३९
में करमाल के युद्ध के बाद वह नादिरशाह को मिला था ।
उसके बंशज शाहशुजा से यह हीरा राजा रणजीतसिंह ने
ले लिया । अंत में सन् १८ ९ में यह अंगरेजों के हाथ आया
और दूसरे वर्ष इंगलैड में महारानी विक्टोरिया की भेंट हुआ
और अबतक वहाँ के राजकोश में वर्तमान है । पहले यह
हीरा ३१९ रत्ती का था और संसार में सबसे बड़ा समझा
जाता थ पर अब यह यह फिर से तराशा गया और तौल में
केबल १० २ १/२ रत्ती रह गया ।
