होता है ।
विशेष— ऐसा प्रसिद्ध है, कि ईसा मसीह की माता मारियम ने प्रसव के
समय इस वनस्पति पर हाथ रखा था, जिससे इसका आकार
पंजे का सा हो गया । इसी कारण इसके संबंध में यह भी
प्रसिद्ध हो गया है कि प्रसव पीड़ा के समय गर्भवती स्त्री के
सामने इसे रख देने से पीड़ा शांत हो जाती है और सहज में
तथा शीघ्र प्रसव हो जाता है ।
