जिसका शासन काल ईसवी पाँचवी शताब्दी के अंत से लगभग
आठवीं शताब्दी तक था ।
विशेष—इस वंश का राज्य पूर्व में मगध तक, दक्षिण में मध्य
प्रांत और आंध्र तक; उत्तर में नेपाल तक तथा पश्रिम में
थानेश्वर और मालवे तक था । इसकी राजधानी कन्नौज थी,
परंतु बीच में उसपर बैस वंशी राजा हर्ष ने अधिकार कर
लिया था । इस वंश के लोग अपने आप को भद्रराज अश्वपति के वंशज मानते थे । इस वंश के बहुत प्राचीन होने के कई
प्रमाण मिले हैं; पर इनका पुराना इतिहास अभी तक नहीं
मिला है । हरिवर्मा, ईश्वरवर्मा, शर्ववर्मा, ग्रहवर्मा, यशोवर्मा,
आदि इस वंश के प्रसिद्ध राजा थे ।
