रक्तज और कफज चार प्रकार का होता है । वातज अभिष्यंद
में सूई चुभने की सी पीड़ा होती है और ऐसा जान पड़ता है
कि आँखों में किरकिरी पड़ी हो । इसमें ठंढा पानी बहता है
और सिर दुखता है । पित्तज अभिष्यंद में आँखों में जलन
होती है और बहुत पानी बहता है । ठंढी चीजे रखने से
आराम मालूम होता है । कफज अभिष्यंद में आँखें भारी जान
पड़ती हैं, सूजन अधिक होती है और बार बार गाढ़ा पानी
बहता हैं । इसमें गरम चीजों से आराम मालूम होता है ।
रक्तज अभिष्यंद में आँखें बहुत लाला रहती हैं और सब लक्षण
पित्तज अभिष्यंद के से होते हैं । अभिष्यंद रोग की चिकित्सा
न होने से अधिमंथ रोग होने का डर रहता है ।
