केशव के अनुसार आक्षेप अलंकार का एक
भेद जिसमें प्रेम का वर्णन करने में ही उसमें बाधा पड़ती
दिखाई जाती है । जैसे, यदि नायक से नायिका यह कहे
कि 'हमारा मन तुम्हें कभी छोड़ने को नहीं चाहता । पर जब
तुम उठकर जाना चाहने हो, तब हमारा मन तुसमे आगे ही
चल पड़ता है ।' तो यह प्रेमाक्षेप हुआ क्योंकि इसमें पहले तो
यह कहा गया है कि हमारा मन तुम्हें कभी छोड़ने को नहीं
चाहता, पर नायिका के इस कथन में उस समय बाधा पड़ती है । जब वह यह कहती है कि 'जब तुम उठकर जाना चाहते
हो तब हमारा मन (तुमको छोड़कर) तमसे आगे ही चल
पड़ता है ।' (कविप्रिया) ।
