विशेष—मनु के अनुसार यह छह प्रकार का है—(१) विवाह में
होम के समय जो धन मिले वह अध्यग्निक, (२) पिता के यहाँ
से जाते समय जो मिले वह अध्यावाहनिक, (३) पति प्रसन्न
होकर जो दे वह प्रीतिदत्त, और (४) माता से प्राप्त मातृत्त,
(५) पिता से प्राप्त पितृदत्त तथा (६) भ्राता से जो धन मिले
वह भ्रातृदत्त कहलाता है । इस धन पर पानेवाली स्त्री का ही
अधिकार होता है, और किसी आदमी का कुछ अधिकार
नहीं होता ।
