बनावे । कोष्ठों की पहली पंक्ति में १, २, ३,आदि अंक लिखे;
दूसरी में वर्णसूची के अंक (२, ४, ५, १६,आदि) लिखे;
तीसरी पक्ति में दूसरी पक्ति के अकों के आधे अक भरे;
चौथी में पहली और दूसरी पंक्ति के अंकों के गुणनफल
लिखे; पाँचवीं में चौथी पंक्ति के आधे अंक भरे; छठी
पंक्ति में चौथी और पाँचवीं पंक्ति के अंकों का योग लिखे;
और सातवों पंक्ति में छठो पंक्ति के आधे अंक भरे ।
उदाहरण के लिये छह वर्णों की मर्कटी इस प्रकार होगी ।
