एक प्रकार का गुल्म रोग जो वात के
प्रकोप से होता है ।
विशेष—वैद्यक के अनुसार अधिक भोजन करने, रूखा अन्न खाने,
बलवान् से लड़ने, मल मुत्र रोकने या अधिक विरेचनादि लेने
से यह रोग होता है । इसमें गोला सा बँध जाता है, जौ इधर
से उधर रेंगता सा जान पड़ता है । कभी कभी बड़ी पीड़ा
होती है । यह पीड़ा प्रायः भोजन पचने के पीछे खाली पेट होने
पर होती है और भोजन करने पर घट जाती है ।
