Amenbo
Amenbo (water rain, water horse, candy bow, candy bar) is a generic term for insects class Hemiptera amebosae. Another name, Mizugumo (water spider), Kawagumo (river spider), Suva (water horse), Mizuzumashi (Shimanto / Suuma), Chuma (Vampire, Edo dialect of the Edo period), Ashika. In modern standard Japanese name, however, the sphagnum refers to one species of aquatic spiders, and the aegyptus to a group of aquatic beetles. "Amenbo" is also the Japanese name of Aquarius paludum aka Namia membo, a species of the family Amimobo.
