Prior to laying the railroad in the latter half of the 19th century, it prospered as a key point of water transport including wool transportation. At present, a steamboat for sightseeing is operating. エチューカ【Echuca】 オーストラリア、ビクトリア州北部の町。ニューサウスウェールズ州との州境となるマレー川とカンパスベ川の合流点に位置する。19世紀後半の鉄道敷設以前には、羊毛運搬をはじめとする水運の要地として栄えた。現在は、観光用の蒸気船が運航されている。
