Exploratorium
The exploratorium (English: the Exploratorium) is a science museum for children and families. The name is a compound word from "explore, explore" and "hall, lecture room". Located in the port area of the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California, USA. Initially, it was made by remodeling the warehouse. As of 2008, it is one of the most popular museums in San Francisco, with more than 500,000 visitors a year. The same building was made in 1969 by the idea and efforts of Frank Oppenheimer who was also a physicist and educator.
