Plum pox virus [Plum pox virus] Plant virus which widely infects plants of the genus Sakura. It was discovered in Bulgaria in 1915 and occurred in Europe, North America, South America, and part of Africa and Asia. It is infected by mediation of aphids and grafting / seedlings. It does not infect seeds and fruits. Fruit trees such as Ume, Momo, Sumomo, Nectarine, Apricot are susceptible to damage, spot marks appear on the surface of leaves and fruits, and the product value and productivity are impaired as it falls before maturity. In Japan, infection was found in Ume for the first time in Heisei 2009 (2009) in Ome city, Tokyo. PPV. プラム‐ポックス‐ウイルス【plum pox virus】 サクラ属の植物に広く感染する植物ウイルス。1915年にブルガリアで発見され、ヨーロッパ・北米・南米およびアフリカ・アジアの一部で発生が確認されている。アブラムシの媒介や接ぎ木・苗によって感染する。種子や果実からは感染しない。ウメ・モモ・スモモ・ネクタリン・アンズなどの果樹が被害を受けやすく、葉や果実の表面に斑紋が現れたり、成熟前に落果したりするため、商品価値・生産性が損なわれる。日本では平成21年(2009)に初めて、東京都青梅市でウメに感染が発見された。PPV。
