[Baba Vida Fortress] "Baba Vida / Баба Вида" Medieval fortress along the Danube urban villain in northwestern Bulgaria. Built in the place where there was a fort in the 10th century, ancient Roman times. During the Primary and Secondary Bulgarian Empire, it played an important role as a defense base in the northwestern part of the Empire, and it was rebuilt repeatedly until the 14th century. ババビダ‐ようさい【ババビダ要塞】 《Baba Vida/Баба Вида》ブルガリア北西部の都市ビディンのドナウ川沿いにある中世の要塞。10世紀、古代ローマ時代の砦があった場所に建造。第一次、第二次ブルガリア帝国時代、帝国北西部の防衛拠点として重要な役割を担い、14世紀まで増改築が繰り返された。
