It is located in the Timor Sea, 70 km north of Darwin, adjacent to Melville Island in the East with a narrow waterway. It is surrounded by mangrove and covered with forest. During the Second World War, we received an air raid by the Japanese army. バサースト‐とう【バサースト島】 《Bathurst Island》オーストラリア、ノーザンテリトリーの島。ダーウィンの北約70キロメートル、チモール海にあり、東のメルビル島と狭い水路を隔てて隣接する。マングローブに囲まれ、森林に覆われる。第二次大戦中、日本軍による空襲を受けた。
