Bounty Shot [Bounty Islands] "Bounty Islands" Mujinto island south of New Zealand. It is located about 670 kilometers southeast of the South Island, 47 degrees 45 minutes south, 179 degrees east longitude 3 minutes. The name comes from the discovery of captain William Bry of British warship Bounty. Seal hunting base was established in the 19th century. Known as the habitat for endangered species of Schreeter penguin and salubin albatross, in 1998 it is a world heritage (natural heritage) with the name "Antarctic Islands of New Zealand", along with the Antipodes, Auckland Islands, Snares and Campbell Islands, Was registered. バウンティー‐しょとう【バウンティー諸島】 《Bounty Islands》ニュージーランド南方の無人島群。南島の南東約670キロメートル、南緯47度45分、東経179度3分に位置する。名称は、英国の軍艦バウンティー号の船長ウィリアム=ブライが発見したことに由来する。19世紀にアザラシ猟の拠点が置かれた。絶滅危惧種のシュレーターペンギンやサルビンアホウドリの生息地として知られ、1998年にアンティポデス諸島、オークランド諸島、スネアーズ諸島、キャンベル島とともに、「ニュージーランドの亜南極諸島」の名称で世界遺産(自然遺産)に登録された。
