Beni isguen] Settlement in the southern eastern suburbs of Oasis city Galdia situated in the dry valley (Wadi) of Muzab region in the north of Algeria's Sahara desert. From the 10th to the 11th century, the old city skyline centered on the mosque at the top of the hill built by the Iberd Berber people, and the traditional souk (open market) remain. It was registered in World Heritage (Cultural Heritage) under the name "Valley of Muzab" with Ghardaia and neighboring villages in 1982. ベニ‐イスゲン【Beni isguen】 アルジェリアのサハラ砂漠北部、ムザブ地方の涸れ谷(ワジ)に位置するオアシス都市ガルダイア南東郊の集落。10世紀から11世紀頃、イバード派ベルベル人によって築かれた丘の頂のモスクを中心とする古い街並みと、伝統的なスーク(野外市場)が残っている。1982年にガルダイアや周辺の集落とともに「ムザブの谷」の名称で世界遺産(文化遺産)に登録された。
