Karlstein Castle "Hrad Karl \u0026 # x0161; tejn" Gothic castle on the outskirts of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Located in the hill which is about 30 kilometers southwest of Prague, overlooking the Belowunka River. Built in the 14th century by Holy Roman Emperor Carl IV (Charles I of Bohemia). It was used as a custodian of royal treasure and as a villa of the successive kings. カルルシュテイン‐じょう【カルルシュテイン城】 《Hrad Karlštejn》チェコの首都プラハ郊外にあるゴシック様式の城。プラハの南西約30キロメートル、ベロウンカ川を見下ろす高台に位置する。神聖ローマ皇帝カール4世(ボヘミア王カレル1世)により14世紀に建造。王族の財宝の保管庫として、また歴代の王の別荘として利用された。
